Person Irresponsible (PI for short and you’ll find out why) joins the podcast from England to share her funny and inspiring story of adventure in recovery. In her own words: “Last year, yup that one we don't talk about, I walked solo across America whilst female, fat, forty-something and in my fourth year of recovery. I was also perennially British, and had previously walked from the sofa to the fridge and back many, many times. I considered camping to be a loathsome pursuit. I came home, could barely walk, and wrote a book about my exploits entitled Everything You Ever Taught Me. It's not a drunkalogue (otherwise it'll be longer than the Encyclopedia Brittanica) but rather how I coped one step at a time, one day at a time and one ginormous bloody mountain at a time.” Enjoy this one!
