Interview with Irish author Kate Gunn. I was super fortunate to have a newish quit lit book drop in my lap all the way from Ireland. It's called The Accidental Soberista written by Irish author Kate Gunn. Kate tells her story of going from HATING Dry January (she even wrote an article about it) to experimenting with another dry month after seeing her brother transform his life just by giving up the drink. She was just like any good Irish gal and loved her Guinness, had times she overdid it, and would have happily continued drinking if not for dipping her toe in the dry life again to support her partner doing a 30-Day challenge. This time was different for her, and she started to see all the unexpected bliss of an alcohol-free life. Something switched along the way and she started to really feel better and notice all aspects of her life improved without alcohol. Enjoy our podcast conversation and read the book if you love funny, refreshing, and feel good stories of transformation.
